The Cartersville Lady Canes softball team is scheduled to play a doubleheader at Ridgeland Thursday in the Region 7AAAA playoffs. The winner of the series will earn a spot in the Class AAAA tournament.
The best-of-three series begins with a doubleheader Thursday scheduled for 5pm and 7pm. If needed, a rubber game in the series would be played Friday or Saturday.
Also of local note, Adairsville is scheduled to begin region playoffs on Saturday. Site and time to be announced.
