Wildcats soccer shutout by Kell

The Woodland boys soccer team lost 2-0 to visiting Kell Friday night at Wildcats' Stadium.

Coach Ed Guse of the Wildcats was positive about his team's play in the loss.

"Despite the negative result, the boys played a very good game," said Guse. "Our passes created some good opportunities."

Woodland goalie Kristian Fisher was also credited with a solid performance.

"Fisher played a strong game," noted Guse. "He anticipated well, like a sweeper, and made several important saves."

"The boys are playing hard and putting in a lot of hard work," concluded Guse.
