The Cass girls tennis team defeated Paulding County 4-1 Wednesday, but the boys squad fell by a 3-2 score to the Patriots.
Line 1 singles player Emily Surcey (photo) won 6-0, 6-0 to lead the Lady Colonels to a singles sweep of the Lady Patriots.
Payton Tatusko won at Line 2, 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 and Emma Wickenheiser won her match at Line 3, 6-0, 6-2.
McKenley King and Carli Rediger took Line 1 doubles, 6-2, 6-3.
