Adairsville soccer teams lose at Bremen

The Adairsville girls' and boys' soccer teams both lost road games Friday night at Bremen. The Lady Tigers were shutout 8-0 and the boys fell to the Blue Devils, 5-1.

BREMEN 8, ADAIRSVILLE GIRLS 0

The Lady Tigers fell behind 5-0 in the first half and never recovered in an 8-0 loss at Bremen. The Lady Blue Devils improved to 9-5 on the season and 3-0 in Regoin 6-AAA.
 

 
Adairsville (8-4, 3-1) has region matches Tuesday at Coahulla Creek and Friday at Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe.

Despite playing well in a physical and scoreless first half, the Tigers struggled in the second half and dropped a 5-1 decision at Bremen Friday night.
 

 
Bremen (9-2-1, 2-1) scored a pair of goals on penalty kicks early in the second half and Adairsville never recovered.

Adairsville (5-7, 2-2) travels to region-leading Coahulla Creek Tuesday and makes the journey to Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe on Friday. The Tigers can clinch a state playoff berth with a win in either contest.
