The Adairsville High School wrestling team went 4-1 and captured third place overall at the Cherokee Bluff Duals Saturday in Flowery Branch.
The Tigers picked up head-to-head victories over Madison County, Hart County, Dublin, and North Hall during the competition. Adairsville's lone loss was to Oconee County.
Jaxson Owens (120-pounds) had a perfect 5-0 day for Adairsville. Jett Johnson, who split time in the heavyweight division with Luke Story, was 2-0 on the day.
Next for the Tigers is a road match at Hiram Wednesday night before hosting Model and Cartersville Friday and heading to the Dragon Duals at Pepperell High School Saturday.
