Brackets released for Woodland, Cass; GHSA Class AAAAA state duals tourney

The Georgia High School Association has released the brackets and schedule for this weekend's Class AAAAA state duals wrestling championship at the Macon Centreplex.

Woodland and Cass are the two teams representing Area 7-AAAAA. They were voted into the state tournament by Area coaches after weather, road conditions, and school cancelations caused the Area tournament to be canceled. Woodland was 9-0 and Cass 8-1 in matches with Area opponents.

The GHSA state tournament begins Thursday, January 12 and runs through Saturday, January 14.

Tickets are $7 on Thursday; $10 on Friday and Saturday; or $24 for a 3-day pass.
