Bartow History Museum seeks help with Hometown Teams exhibit and presentation

The Bartow History Museum is currently recruiting individuals who may have an intrest in greeting guests, providing tours, and/or answering questions for an upcoming “Hometown Teams” exhibit July 29-September 9.

Training will be provided.

The presentation is a collaboration between the Smithsonian Institution and the Georgia Humanities Council.

The museum is also seeking the loan of local photos, uniforms, programs, and equipment that highlight Bartow’s sporting legacy.

Items can be from any sporting activity, including band, cheer, and spectators. The items may be from long ago or relatively recent.
