Cartersville 14U baseball travel team wins tourney

A local 14U travel baseball team, Cartersville Purple, won the Rawlings Chaos on the Mound tournament October 14th in Dalton.

Cartersville Purple won three straight games to win the tournament. They defeated West Cobb Wolfpack and Diamond Academy Baseball Legends in preliminary action before defeating Bradley (TN) Thunder, 10-9, in eight innings.
