Cartersville pitcher Zoie Shiflett threw a seven-inning complete-game shutout on Wednesday at Dellinger Park and hit a game-winning solo home run to lead off the sixth inning as the Lady Canes edged River Ridge, 1-0, and The Adairsville Lady Tigers cruised to a 19-2 non-region win on Wednesday at Walker in Marietta. Adairsville piled up 19 hits and scored in all four of its offensive frames.
