Cartersville cross country teams race at Berry Invitational

The Cartersville High School cross country teams competed this weekend at the annual Berry College Clara Bowl 5K Invitational in Rome. The Mill Creek girls won the event by a wide margin while the Peachtree Ridge boys edged Blessed Trinity for the 2015 title. Cartersville’s Bree Cole ran 36th overall (20:34) and led the Lady Canes to a 26th place team finish in the field of 53 schools. Haden Boone led the Purple Hurricanes’ boys (18:22), just ahead of teammate Robby Earick (18:51). They finished 74th and 123rd individually.
