Lady Wildcats lose at River Ridge
River Ridge scored early and often in defeating Woodland 11-1 Wednesday night in a sub-region softball matchup in Woodstock.
The Lady Knights sent ten batters to the plate in the bottom of the first, scored six times in that frame, and eventually cruised to a four inning win. Jessica Mirocha picked up the pitching victory for River Ridge. Beth McCulley, Gabby Williams, and Addison Bray led the River Ridge 10-hit attack with two hits each. Bray drove in three runs. The Lady Knights improved to an 11-5 mark on the season. The Lady Cats fell to 7-11. Woodland hitters:
