Falcons and top pick Beasley, Jr. host Eagles Monday night

Former Adairsville High School star and Atlanta Falcons' top choice in the 2015 draft, Vic Beasley Jr., open the 2015 NFL season Monday night at Georgia Dome against the Philadelphia Eagles. Falcons' first-year head coach Dan Quinn is anxious to see his revamped defense and first round draft pick Beasley go against the up tempo Philadelphia offense.

Beasley, who was an All-American at Clemson University, will be in the "Leo" position in Quinn's 4-3 defense. For more on Beasley, the Falcons, and the season opener, see Charles Odum's story in The Gainesville Times. http://www.gainesvilletimes.com/section/34/article/112082/
