Cherokee outlasts Lady Cats in extra innings


The Cherokee Lady Warriors improved to an impressive 19-2 on the season Wednesday with a 2-1, extra inning softball victory over Woodland in Canton. Woodland and Cherokee went to the extra frame tied 1-1, but the Lady Warriors were able to push across a game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth.
