Lady Canes volleyball falls to pair of Class AAAAAA opponents

Cartersville volleyball was swept by a pair of Class AAAAAA opponents -- Hillgrove and Pope -- Thursday night in non-region action. Pope defeated the Lady Canes 25-15, 25-18 in straight sets. Hillgrove also won in straight sets, 25-16, 25-17.

Cartersville hosts Darlington Tuesday, October 6 at 6pm before opening region tournament play next Thursday and Saturday (Oct 8 and 10).
