Lady Tigers open state playoffs at Franklin Co.

The Adairsville Lady Tigers have advanced to the 2015 Class AAA state playoffs. Adairsville is the No. 4 seed from Region 6AAA and will play a best-of-three series at Franklin County that begins Wednesday. If a third game is necessary, it will be played at Franklin County Thursday. The survivor of the Adairsville/Franklin Co. series will face the winner of the Peach County/Hephzibah series in the round of 16. The final 8 teams will meet in Columbus October 29-31 in a double-elimination format.
