Lady Canes open volleyball state playoffs Wednesday in Savannah

The Cartersville Lady Canes volleyball team will travel to Savannah Wednesday to take on the Lady Knights of Windsor Forest High School in the opening round of the Class AAAA state playoffs.

Cartersville is the No. 3 seed from Area 7AAAA. Windsor Forest is the No. 2 seed from Area 3AAAA.

The winner advances to the second round October 20 against the winner of the opening round matchup between Buford and Mt. Zion-Jonesboro.
