The Colts jumped out to an early lead behind the rushing efforts of Kevin Henderson and never looked back as they upset the previously undefeated Jets. Henderson opened the scoring on a 3 yard run and Caleb Cooley added the conversion to give the Colts an early lead. Chris Roper answered for the Jets with a 2 yard touchdown, but the extra point failed making it 7-6. Caleb Cooley then returned the ensuing kickoff 60 yards for a touchdown for the upstart Colts before Devin Henderson joined the scoring act by picking up a fumble and returning it 56 yards for another Colts' touchdown. Late in the first half, Cooley broke loose for a 38 yard touchdown run and a following Hunter Waits’ conversion kick, the Colts had a 27-6 advantage at the half. Cooley added a 44 yard scoring dash in the third period and, after Waits’ extra point, the Colts had extended their lead to 35-6. The Jets’ Roper scored on a 15 yard run in the fourth period for a 35-12 final score. Both teams had great seasons and finished the year with identical 8-1 records.
