Woodland splits swim meet at Darlington

The Woodland swim team finished behind Calhoun, but defeated Darlington in combined team scores Tuesday night at Darlington. Calhoun finished the night with 294 combined points, followed by Woodland with 155 and Darlington 146.

Woodland's Jordan Baldwin took three more seconds off his 100 yard backstroke time for a 14 second drop in only two weeks. Leah McDonald took two seconds off her 200 yard freestyle time; Chelsea Palacios improved her 100 yard butterfly time by two seconds; Madilyn Tuplin dropped five seconds off her 100 yard backstroke time; and Virginia Peach improved by five seconds in the 100 yard breast stroke.

The Wildcats travel to the Cherokee Aquatic Center December 4 to challenge River Ridge. The meet is scheduled for 7pm.
