Woodland swimmers win county championship

Woodland won the combined team scores and the girls events at the 2016 Bartow County Swim Championship Saturday at Adairsville High School. Adairsville finished with the most points among the boys’ teams.

Woodland edged Adairsville with a combined total of 214 points. Adairsville was second with 204. Cartersville was third in combined scores with 108 and Cass totaled 68 points.

The Woodland girls collected 138 points to best Adairsville (86), Cartersville (49), and Cass (28).

The Adairsville boys scored 118 points to outdistance Woodland (76), Cartersville (59), and Cass (40).
