Adairsville boys soccer defeats Armuchee

The Adairsville boys soccer team improved to 2-1 on the season with a 2-1 victory over Armuchee Tuesday night. Danny Carillo scored both goals for the Tigers -- one on a penalty kick and the other on a great shot from 15 yards out. Adairsville goalkeeper, B.J. Hardman, had an outstanding game in net. He made eight saves on a rainy night.

Tigers coach, Kelly Abernathy, is excited about the improvement of the team. Adairsville is scheduled to host Trion Thursday (Feb. 25) and Darlington Feb. 29.
