Wildcats fall to Kennesaw Mountain


Kennesaw Mountain senior pitcher, Daniel Dolensky, tossed a four inning no-hitter Wednesday night and struck out six to take down the Woodland Wildcats at the LakePoint baseball complex in Emerson.


Kennesaw Mountain scored four runs in the second, nine in the third, and two more in the fourth to end the non-region contest, 15-0.


The Mustangs recorded 13 hits in their win including seven extra-base hits. Ivan Johnson hit a homerun in the third. Woodland falls to 1-1 with the loss. Kennesaw Mountain improved to 3-0.


The Wildcats are scheduled to play LaGrange Friday (Feb. 26, 5:55pm) at Reinhardt University in Waleska and will travel to River Ridge Monday (Feb. 29, 5:55pm) to open a three game sub-region series with the Knights.
