Cass boys tennis team sweeps Rome

The Cass boys tennis swept Rome on the road Thursday night, 5-0.

Avery Cornett won 6-0, 6-0; Dalton Jackson won 6-1, 6-0; and Eric Dunlap won 6-1, 6-1 at the three singles positions.

Jacob McBrayer and Seth Colston won at the top doubles line, 6-2, 6-3. The Colonels’ second line doubles pair of Logan Barrere and Reagan Barrere won 6-0, 6-0.

The Cass girls team lost to Rome, 4-1. Ryleigh Lanham was the only victor for the Lady Colonels winning at the No. 1 singles line, 6-2, 6-0.

Cass will play in the Woodland Invitational Friday and Saturday. (Mar 11-12)
