River Ridge soccer defeats Wildcats

The Woodland boys soccer team fell to visiting River Ridge Tuesday night, 5-1, in a sub-region match.

The Wildcats tied the score at 1-1 in the 11th minute when Diony Ochoa scored Woodland’s only goal of the night.

The two teams battled scoreless for the remainder of the first half, but the Knights dominated the second half scoring four unanswered goals for their first win of the year.

Woodland (0-7, 0-3 in sub-region 7-AAAAA-A) entertains Sequoyah Friday in a 7:30pm start.
