Colonels golf second in tri-match at Cedartown

The Cass boys golf team finished five shots behind Cedartown, but defeated Pepperell in a golf tri-match Tuesday afternoon at Meadow Lakes Golf Club in Cedartown.

The Bulldogs fired a team total of 181 to win the match. The Colonels were second at 186 and Pepperell shot 212.

Cass freshman Joel Shepherd was low medalist with a 41 in the nine-hole event.

The Colonels play again Monday (March 28) at Cartersville Country Club where they will face Allatoona and Cartersville.
