Cartersville girls and boys, Adairsville girls, Cass boys prep for state tennis playoffs

The GHSA playoff brackets for the 2016 state tournament were made available Friday morning.
Both Cartersville teams won Region 7-AAAA and will host opening round matches against the Grady girls and Chamblee boys of Region 6-AAAA on Tuesday.
The Adairsville girls finished second in Region 6-AAA and will host third-seeded West Hall of Region 7-AAA in the first round. The Cass boys enter the state tournament as the No. 4 seed from Region 7-AAAAA. The Colonels will travel to face the Region 6-AAAAA champions, Dunwoody.
