GHC softball earns post season spot

The Georgia Highlands softball Chargers swept a home doubleheader Saturday with Andrew College to clinch a berth in the post-season.

Georgia Highlands won 6-3 and 10-9 in 9 innings to sweep the twinbill.

The Chargers, 24-30 overall, 7-7 in the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association, are scheduled to host USC-Salkehatchie in a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday and Chattanooga State CC on Monday, April 25 to wrap up regular season play.

The NJCAA Region XVII Tournament will be April 28-30 at a site to be determined.
