Lady Canes, Canes have multiple qualifiers for track and field state sectional

The Cartersville girls and boys track and field teams competed Monday and Tuesday at Southeast Whitfield High School in Dalton at the Region 7-AAAA Championships.

The Lady Canes finished third in the event. The Canes were fifth in the final standings.

The top four finishers in each event will advance to sectionals in Carrollton on April 30.
