Cartersville volleyball splits four matches at LFO Tourney

Playing in the Lakeview-Ft. Oglethorpe Invitational Saturday, Cartersville finished the day with a 2-2 mark.

The Lady Canes defeated Southeast Whitfield 25-22 and 25-20. They also defeated Coahulla Creek 25-12 and 26-24.

In one of their tightest matches of the year, Cartersville lost to Gordon Lee in three sets with the Lady Canes winning the middle set 26-24. The Lady Trojans won set one 25-22 and the third set 15-12.

Cartersville also fell to Northwest Whitfield 25-16 and 25-19.

The Lady Canes (4-5) are back in action next Saturday at Cherokee High School.
