The Woodland High School girls cross country team is off to a fast start this season and recently received some national recognition.

MileSplitUSA has the Lady Wildcats ranked as the No. 103 team in the nation.

Other Georgia teams ranked high in the ratings include No. 13 Landmark Christian Academy, No. 20 South Forsyth, No. 50 Milton, No. 58 Union Grove, No. 70 Brookwood, No 79 Creekview, No. 87 Mill Creek, No. 126 Harrison, and No. 156 Starrs Mill.

The Lady Cats top five roster per includes: (best time)

1) Carli Clymer (19:38)

2) Angela Cochran (19:38)

3) Lindsay Scifers (20:01)

4) Cheyenne Spinks (20:13)

5) Makenna Trapheagen (20:47)

Average Time: 20:03.81 Total Time: 1:40:19.04 1-5 Split: 1:09.22

Woodland runners Casey Bolan (22:01), Abigail Campos (23:21), and Mackenzie Stephenson (23:43) round out the Lady Cats' top eight runners this season and each of these three have top ten times among local high school runners.
