Lady Tigers rally for win at Bremen

The Adairsville Lady Tigers’ softball team trailed 1-0 through four innings Thursday at Bremen, but posted six runs in the fifth and sixth frames for a come-from-behind region victory.
Adairsville led 6-2 going to the bottom of the seventh when Bremen threatened a comeback of their own, but Lady Tigers’ pitcher Loren Harris got a strikeout and induced a game ending groundout for a 6-5 win.
Both offenses were productive. The two teams combined for 26 hits.
Harris (7 IP, 5R, 4ER, 12H, 0BB, 4K) earned the complete game pitching victory.
Six Adairsville players finished with two hits each, led by Bailey Robinson’s two doubles and four RBIs. Harris had two hits that included a double. Emily Collum had a triple in her two hits. Morgan Deboard, Natalie Burrow, and Breanna Wilson also collected two hits.
Havyn Isaac finished with a double and one RBI and Makayla Tanner added one hit and one RBI. Cortni Jacobs stole a base.
Adairsville (7-8, 4-5 in region play) is scheduled to host Haralson County Thursday at 5:30pm
