Woodland girls 7th at Wingfoot Classic

The Woodland girls cross country team placed seventh Saturday in the Wingfoot Cross Country Classic hosted by the Atlanta Track Club at Sam Smith Park in Cartersville.

A total of 52 varsity high school girls teams and 59 varsity high school boys teams participated in both the Championship and Open division races.

Woodland and Cartersville had both girls and boys teams participating. Excel Christian’s boys participated.
