Excel Christian up two spots in GHSA softball power ratings

The Excel Christian Academy softball team won twice in the past week and improved their GHSA Class A Private power rating position by two spots.

The Lady Eagles, with win over Darlington and Mt. Zion-Carroll last Thursday and Monday, climbed to the No. 20 spot in ratings released Tuesday.

The top 24 teams advance to the Class A Private playoffs that begin October 12-13 at higher seed school sites.
