Woodland wrestling wins Blackbeard Duals with finals win over Cass

The Woodland high school wrestling team won the Blackbeard Duals at Allatoona High School Saturday with a 48-15 victory over region and county rival Cass in the finals.

Woodland had wins over Pepperell, Union Grove, Allatoona, and Gilmer on their journey to the championship match.

Cass had wins over Northgate (57-12), South Paulding (48-25), Luella (40-21), and North Forsyth (40-37) to reach the finals.

Cass and Woodland will both wrestle next at the Etowah Eagles' Duals on Tuesday.
