Colonels split matches with Sonoraville, Adairsville

The Cass wrestling team defeated Adairsville, but the Colonels were edged by Sonoraville Wednesday night in a tri-meet at Cass High School.

The dual match with Sonoraville went to the final match with the Phoenix pulling out a 37-33 victory. The Colonels defeated Adairsville 58-12 and Sonoraville also picked up a win over Adairsville.

Cass will split its squad this weekend with wrestlers at both the Allatoona High School Parlay Invitational and the Sequoyah Duals. The Allatoona tournament begins Friday evening and continues Saturday. The Sequoyah Duals begin Saturday morning.

Adairsville will compete in the Dalton Carpet Classic this Friday and Saturday.
