Eight local football players inked on National Signing Day
Seven members of this past season's state championship Cartersville Purple Hurricanes football team and one player from Woodland High School signed national letters of intent Wednesday on National Signing Day.

Torrian Scrutchins - Cartersville HS - Ellsworth Community College
Avery Showell - Cartersville HS - Georgia Tech
Brandon Wade - Cartersville HS - Ellsworth Community College
The eight local players are now listed and may be followed throughout their collegiate careers via Athletes Beyond Bartow on this site.
One other local junior college player will be transitioning to the next level.
