Lady Canes sweep Wheeler, Hurricanes fall to Wildcats


The Cartersville girls tennis team made it a clean sweep of the Wheeler Lady Wildcats Monday night, while the Hurricanes lost to Wheeler, 4-1.

The Canes are now 2-4 on the season following their loss. The Lady Canes improved to 3-3 on the season with their victory.


Tuesday’s match with Rome was postponed due to inclement weather.


Up next for Cartersville is a home match Thursday with region opponent Troup County.
