Lady Canes, Canes tennis teams improve to 3-0 in Region 5AAAA


The Cartersville High School girls and boys tennis teams defeated Sandy Creek Wednesday night.


The Lady Canes won 5-0 with five straight sets victories to improve to 6-3 for the season and 3-0 in Region 5AAAA.


The boys team defeated the Patriots 4-1 and dropped only four games in eight sets in their four wins. The Hurricanes improved to 5-4 overall and are also now 3-0 in Region 5AAAA.
