Lady Tigers lose at Calhoun

The Adairsville girls soccer team lost at Calhoun Thursday evening, 3-0.


Calhoun led 2-0 at the intermission on a pair of goals in the first twelve minutes of the first half.


The Jackets added a final goal early in the second half and then went into defensive mode to hold off the Lady Tigers.


Havyn Isaac had eight saves in goal for Adairsville.


The Lady Tigers (11-4, 5-3) host Ringgold Friday at 5:30pm and will open the Class AAA state playoffs Tuesday at Jackson County (14-2).
