Crackers remain unbeaten in Cartersville Little League playoffs


Following a full week of post-season playoff games, the Cartersville Little League (major) Championship tournament is down to its final three teams.


The Crackers finished in second place during the regular season, but are now the only undefeated team remaining in the double-elimination playoffs.


The Crackers have wins over the Padres, Dodgers, and Braves to reach the championship round needing only one more win to clinch the tournament title.


The Indians and the Braves are the other two remaining teams in the playoffs and both have one loss. Those two teams play each other Monday for the right to meet the Crackers in the championship round, but will need to win twice in the finals.


The Braves finished the regular season with only one loss and in first place. The Indians were the third place team during the CLL regular season.
