Lady Cats win Marietta Distance Carnival

The Woodland High School girls distance team won the six-event, 12-team, 5th annual Marietta Distance Carnival at Marietta High School Saturday. The Woodland boys team placed eighth.

The Lady Cats scored 41 points to finish ahead of Atlanta International School (32), Harrison (30), Richmond Hill (27), and North Gwinnett (27).

Gainesville won the boys title followed by Richmond Hill and host Marietta.
