Local track and field results from Gordon Central, Roswell invites
The track and field teams of Cass and Cartersville High School had members compete in Saturday’s 2018 Mohawk-Warrior Invitational at Gordon Central High School.
Dalton won both the girls and boys titles with Riverdale and Rockmart placing second and third in both genders. The Calhoun girls placed fourth. Host Gordon Central was fourth in the boys’ meet.
The Cass girls were ninth in the 11-team field. The Cass boys placed seventh. Cartersville fielded a partial team.
Also Saturday at the Roswell Relays at Roswell High School, the Woodland girls placed sixth and the Woodland boys were seventh.
Cambridge won the 18-team girls meet, followed by Archer, Cherokee, Douglas County, and Centennial.
Archer won the boys title at Roswell followed by Cherokee, Hiram, Roswell, and Cambridge.
