The Adairsville girls soccer team was eliminated from the Class 3A state playoffs Thursday with a 5-0 loss at Lovett.
2nd-ranked Lovett scored twice in the opening minutes and led 3-0 at halftime on their way to the shutout victory.
The Lady Lions improved to 11-3-4 on the season and advances to play Greater Atlanta Christian in the second round next Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers season ends with an 11-3-2 mark.
