Fields earns All-South Region honors
Kingston native and Rhodes College junior distance runner Spencer Fields landed two USTFCCCA All-South Region honors last Tuesday. Fields earned them for a second-place showing in the 10k and third-place finish in the 5k among NCAA D-III region distance runners. Fields will compete in the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships this weekend in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Fields broke the Rhodes College 10k record twice this year. His best time is ranked 14th among fellow qualifiers.
