Woodland volleyball falls in road matches

Woodland volleyball was swept by two opponents Thursday night in matches at Allatoona.

The Lady Cats fell to Sonoraville 25-16 and 25-9, before losing to the host Lady Buccaneers, 25-14 and 25-12.

Sonoraville improved to a 9-5 record. Allatoona moved to 11-6.

The two losses dropped Woodland to 8-8 on the season. They play Villa Rica and Paulding County in their first area matches Tuesday at Villa Rica.
