Local high school wrestlers to compete at GHSA State Sectionals this weekend

The Georgia High School Association’s Wrestling State Sectionals will be conducted at multiple site across the state this weekend, February 8-9. Woodland and Cass will both be in the Class 5A Section A tournament at Union Grove High School; Cartersville will be in the Class 4A Section A tournament at West Laurens High School; and Adairsville will participate in the Class 3A Section A tournament at Jefferson High School. The top eight finishers in each weight class bracket in Class 5A and Class 4A will advance to the state finals in Macon February 13-16. The top six finishers in each weight class bracket advance in Class 3A.
