Moss caps career with pair of 4th place finishes


Rylee Moss of Adairsville capped her senior swim season with a pair of fourth-place finishes in Saturday’s Class A-3A finals at the McAuley Aquatic Center at Georgia Tech. Moss, an Old Dominion University signee (photo), placed fourth in the 200-yard individual medley (2:08.10) and the 100-yard butterfly (56.81). Teammate Harper Powell was 11th (24.95) in the girls 50-yard freestyle.


In addition, Moss, Powell, Mallory Cook, and Kayleigh Rice combined to compete in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 200-yard medley relay. The Lady Tigers were 11th in the 200-yard free (1:46.59) and 13th in the medley relay (2:01.19).


In the Class 4A-5A division, Giulia Vidoli of Cartersville was 12th in the 100-yard backstroke. She also joined teammates Grayson Breedlove, Rachel Long, and Gracie Siniard to place 17th in the 400-yard free relay.
