Local seniors to play in NW Georgia Tip-Off Club all-star game
Ten local high school senior basketball players will participate Thursday night in the 5th annual Northwest Georgia Tip-Off Club Senior All-Star Games at Georgia Highlands College in Rome. Twenty-four senior girls and twenty-four senior boys were chosen from 26 different schools in the area to participate in the event. In the girls game, Cass will be represented by Amber Brittian, Sharia Wade, Payton Stoddard, and Alexis Ware on a team coached by Lady Colonels’ head coach Burt Jackson. Nakiyah Washington will represent Adairsville on the team and Woodland will be represented by Madgie Robinson. Four local players were selected to play in the boys contest.
Cartersville’s Perignon Dyer and Isaac Gridley, along with Hunter Johnson of Woodland and Jacquez Fountain of Cass. The games are scheduled for 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rome campus of Georgia Highlands College.
