Woodland tennis falls to Longhorns; Adairsville matches suspended


The Woodland High School tennis teams dropped matches at Kell Thursday afternoon to the host Longhorns. The Lady Cats lost 4-1 and the Wildcats fell 3-2. Kayla Gales picked up the lone girls’ point at Line 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-3 victory. ADAIRSVILLE TENNIS MATCHES SUSPENDED


The Adairsville girls and boys tennis matches with Coahulla Creek Thursday afternoon at home had to be suspended due to rain. At the time of the suspension, the Lady Tigers and Lady Colts were knotted at two matches each. The Coahulla Creek boys were leading two matches to one. The date for conclusion of the match has not been determined.
