Brumlow, Canes win Lions' Invitational

The Cartersville boys golf team won the 22-team Central-Carroll Lions’ Invitational Saturday with a 17-shot victory over second place Metter. The Canes fired a team score of 307 (+19) with Metter at 324 (+36) and Woodward Academy placing third at 339 (+51).

Rome (341, +53), Brookwood (342, +54), Allatoona (348, +58), Riverwood (347, +59), Bremen (355, +67), Pace Academy (355, +67), and North Paulding (356, +68) rounding out the top ten.

Buck Brumlow led the Canes and was tournament medalist with a round of 72. He was followed by teammates Carson Harris (74), Dalton Henson (79), and Camden Meadows (82).
