Woodland knotted the score in the top of the fifth inning on a Dallas Adams RBI single, a bases loaded walk by Koby Stansel, and Smith’s second RBI single of the game.

East Paulding then regained the lead in the bottom of the fifth on a triple and a sacrifice fly, before adding an insurance run in the sixth on a pair of walks followed by a ground ball single and a hit batsman.
